Graduation Gathering

Each year we host two separate ceremonies to celebrate our student’s achievements.  We gather in-person at our main campus in Summertown, TN, and virtually to honor those who are not able to make the trip.

May 17, 2025

VIRTUAL - 11:00 AM

(room opens at 10:30)

IN-PERSON - 3:00 PM

(doors open at 2:30)

Please understand these plans are tentative until May,

and we will continue to update this page and send out newsletters as the date approaches.

Where is the In-person Graduation Gathering?

Weather permitting, we have the ceremony on the front lawn of our main campus in Summertown. Otherwise, we will set up inside the school.

How many people can we bring?

Please limit your party to 5 friends and family. It can be difficult to accommodate a larger gathering if we do need to celebrate inside.

Will my graduate receive a cap and gown?

No, but they are welcome to wear one or both, in any color of their choice!

Will there be snacks?

Yes! We typically serve cake with other treats and beverages.

How do we join the virtual ceremony?

Select Virtual as your Graduation Choice when submitting the Diploma request. We will email the link with final details in May.

DIPLOMAS

We do NOT automatically send out a diploma in May. You must follow the below steps to officially graduate your student:

1. Ensure all courses and final grades have been entered.

2. Submit a Diploma request using the Request Manager at the top of your Parent Dashboard.

3. You DO NOT need to submit an additional request for a final transcript unless you need us to send it directly to a college, or want a copy mailed for your records. We will send out electronic copies of both the Diploma and Transcript, and you will maintain access to the Dashboard to request transcripts at any time.

If your student plans to attend the In-Person Graduation Gathering, please be prepared to request their diploma by April 29th, and select In-Person from the Graduation Choice drop-down. We understand that semester two may not be complete at that time and will expect final grades by graduation.
