Shannon Lee

Shannon landed in Summertown on Christmas Day of 2014, following a lifelong dream of secluded living in a wooded wonderland. She discovered The Farm during the transition and decided to investigate The Farm School as an option for her daughter. After a semester as a parent volunteer focusing on the library and general upkeep, she officially joined The Farm School faculty for the 15/16 school year. Having spent a number of years in child-care and being a stay-at-home mom, she started in the then Butterfly Room to welcome the newest crop of kindergarteners, most of whom still attend the school today! Since then, Shannon has filled many roles within the school, from subbing and teaching a variety of subjects to assisting in the office, which eventually led to directing the Satellite Program.
